Bagdad Cafe: Newberry Springs, California Have you ever seen Bagdad Cafe?🎥 It’s a 1987 English-language West German film.🇩🇪 A lot of people — especially Europeans know about the Bagdad Cafe. The Bagdad Cafe remains an iconic stop on Route 66.   The restaurant was closed that day, but the only employee let me in.😆 The wall features many autographed dollar bills and business cards.  💳 Many of the flags were brought by foreign tourists and posted to the ceiling to mark their visit.🙄 The motel has been demolished in recent years.⌛️ Only the old motel sign next to the Bagdad Cafe remains.
