Little truck, big sign. The Munger Moss, MO. Originally started by Nellie Munger and Emmitt Moss as a sandwich shop in Devil's Elbow, they sold to Pete Hudson who moved the place to Lebanon in 1945 and added tourist cabins. The sign was erected in 1955 and was, like the Rest Haven in Springfield which preceded it, unashamedly based on the Holiday Inn sign. The Blue Swallow Motel is a nostalgic little motel in #Tucumcari New Mexico.
